Senior Scholarship

The Ian Minnick Memorial Scholarship is awarded each spring to a graduating senior in the amount of $1,000 per year for up to four years. Application is made in part through a visual or audio submission along with an interview for finalists with the Ian's Legacy Scholarship Committee.

Applicants should be pursuing post-secondary education in music, digital media production, fashion, voice, dance, drama, photography or any other art form not mentioned. Attendance may be at a technical school, dance or art academy or a two or four year college or university.

The chosen candidate will have demonstrated creativity, focus, authenticity, confidence and commitment to their art.

Continuing Education

Ian's Legacy will award mini scholarships to students entering kindergarten thru 12th grade. As Ian did at Pfabe's Rock School, BGSU's Summer Music Institute's Recording Camp, voice, guitar, piano and drum lessons, these scholarships will be to further the student's education in music and the arts programs. Applications are accepted any time during the year.

The scholarship amount is based on the actual cost of the program or class. The number of mini scholarships and dollar amounts awarded annually will vary based on the number of applicants.
